For
the trans art culture project Vaago Weiland has created in cooperation
with his colleague Markus Borren, an installation of wood sculptures.
These are six „guards“made of pine wood in the same methodology.
In spite of the similarity between them, each figure has its own unique
expression. Here lies the key for the intercultural exchange between
people, says Weiland. The different cultural, religious and indigenous
aspects must exist side by side with equal representation. This installation
is a work inprogress. Borren and Weiland are
planning
to fill
the
entire display area with about 30 – 40 figures.
